Belle - Movement of the Human

Commissioned to document the full performance of Belle during the Aotearoa Arts Festival at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Auckland. The project involved capturing the live show with a two-camera setup and producing both a full-length performance edit and a promotional trailer used to support international festival invitations, touring opportunities, and public marketing.

Filmed on Sony FX3, the final delivery included a fully edited multi-camera show recording alongside a cinematic trailer designed to showcase the scale and atmosphere of the performance. Belle is an ambitious aerial and dance work featuring nine performers from across Aotearoa, blending contemporary choreography, innovative light design, and live music to create a striking multimedia performance exploring the cosmic, the ancestral, and the rhythms that connect them.
